Evaluation Questions

Image
To further explain our project to the audience i made a power point presentation of the evaluation questions as well.  This might help you know more about out Genre and the conventions that we’ve used.

Feedback

Aftering sharing our music video, a lot of people shared their views about how was it as i shared it on my Snapchat instagram and facebook, here are some of the them.

Here’s the youtube link to our music video, do watch it HD.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woXxyzKfTFo

Website

Image
Website link;  https://skylinerecords1.wixsite.com/juliet The website we made was created on Wix.com Starting with the homepage, we decided to have the name of our record label "Skyline Records" on the top left corner of the website. The main colours are black and white which work perfectly with the summery tones of our video. Moving on to the main Artist page, where our label introduces our Artist; JuliΓ©t. To make it look more interesting we decided to have trailers of our video play in the background..so they could act as "teasers". Thirdly, we dedicated a page to our Artist's music. we decided to add both audio and the official video. And finally, we decided to add the "contact us" section, to encourage more artists to work with our record label. Below we also added our actual email account, created for this website.

Ancillary Task: Digipak

Image
This is what our final Digipak looks like. Edit We started by selecting a picture of our artist that we all agreed on. I imported the pictures into our photo editing software.  For this we used Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 then i scaled them down to fix the size showed in the template, i didnt needed to edit the pictures as they were screen grabs from our actual music video. I added the title text and the barcode which i got from stock images on google and i added the all rights reserved text layer. Making this wasnt hard at all and at the end it turned out quite alright.

Colour Grading.

Image
We used Photoshop to colour grade and make our project look more appealing.  For color correction we used Magic Bullets Look  and then i played with the default settings to give it a look we desired

Editing and combining 🌟

Image
To edit and combine our project, the software we used was Adobe premier pro CC as show below..  To further make our project look more professional we used Twixtor,  as s ome of our handheld shots were too shaky, making our video look unprofessional.
